Hello:
One of my users does not receive new e-mailed messages, until he hits a
folder such as "Sent Items".
It's strange. He will sit there and someone will call him on the phone
telling him that he has a new e-mailed message. But, he does not see the new
message until he presses a "button" or folder in his Outlook such as Sent
Items.
Now, I think someone loaded XP service pack 2 on his workstation. I'm not
sure if that's when the problem developed, but...
Anyway, he doesn't save many e-mails. So, it's not a matter of network
traffic or "clogging". And, his is the only machine on the network that has
this problem.
If you have any ideas, I'd like to know.
When replying to me, please keep in mind that I'm not TCP/IP savvy or very
"techish" when it comes to things like Exchange, UDP, etc. I think the
simple answer lies within the user's Outllok install itself.
Thanks!
