E-Mails not getting there.

I am using Outlook 2002 with XP pro and Norton 360. For the past two weeks
messages to one friend are not getting there. They show in my sent folder
and are not being bounced back to me. He also does not get any messages from
my Hotmail account. The only way I can send to him at the moment is via my
ISP's web mail. I have also tried sending him messages from my laptop,
operating system Vista, again using Outlook 2002 and Norton 360.
I asked one of his relatives to E-mail him and he did not get the two
E-Mails sent again using Outlook.
He maintains that his settings are OK and that it only seems to be people
using outlook that he has a problem with. He is using Eudora.
Derek.

If OL sends the mail it has gone, if the recepient doesnt receive them, then
that user needs to check his mail server for the reason
If you have Norton intergrated with OL, ie scanning incoming/outgoing then
that can cause problems. There is no need to intergrate an AV with OL,
assuming your AV has real time scanning, which Norton does.
Disabling the intergration often doesnt work & it is neccessary to
completely remove the AV before reinstalling without the OL intergration.
