Early completion of task by resources

Hello,

How do we handle situation when resources complete the assigned activity
before time. I mean if a task A is assigned to resource X with 6 hrs . If he
completes a task by 4 hrs how do we handle such situation. As it will not be
100% complete and thus indicates incomplete.

As I understand it, the resource can remark that there is no work
remaining in their PWA view. When the PM accepts the update, the plan
will be updated to reflect that the task is 100% complete.
