Earned Value for Multiple Projects

Is there an easy way to globally change the status date for multiple projects
at once to report earned value for these multiple projects at a given status
date without going into each project by project to change this date?

Not that I'm aware of. In Project Server 2003 there is no calculation engine
so any recalculation has to happen in Project Professional. In PS2007 I'm
not aware of any way to do this via PWA.

One solution is to write VBA code that opens each project in turn, set the
status date then save and publish before closing the file.
