To create cross-project dependencies between project A and project B, you
can use the following method:

1. Open a new blank project
2. Click Insert - Project
3. Select project B and click Insert
4. Click Insert - Project
5. Select project A and click Insert

Completing the first five steps creates a master project or consolidated
project. Continue with the following steps to link the tasks:

6. Roll out project B's subtasks
7. Roll out project A's subtasks
8. Select the predecessor task in Project A, press and hold the Control
key, then select the successor task in project B
9. Release the Control key and click the Link Tasks button on the Standard
toolbar
10. Close the master project without saving it
11. When prompted to save the subprojects, click the Yes to All button

When you open either project A or B, you will see a gray "ghost task" in
each project showing the dependency with a task in another project. Hope
this helps.
