I am a computer Operations Analyst. I need to share data, graphics,
spreadsheets, docs and other files easily with other people.
I'm really frustrated with the process of writing Data CDs. Why can't
Microsoft create a Windows tool that simply writes Data CDs that can be
inserted into any Windows computer and read with no trouble? By a simple
drag-and-drop process from Win Explorer or the software tool? Something with
1, 2, 3, 4 etc steps in a plain english help file? Open the tool, drag and
drop the directories and files in a list window, Click Write to CD, and go?
Better still, it works with Windows Explorer! I have seven software
different tools on my 4 computers, none work easily and the help docs are
useless. Same for the BackPack (TM) external drive with the proprietary
software.
Can you recommend something? All I want to do is easily write Data CDs that
I can hand to someone else and they can read and move and edit the data.
