EASY ONE ! using countIF.. puzzled

i am using countIF to find values less than or equal to 5 in a range, and
my formula
=COUNTIF($B1:$B251,{<=5})
keeps generating an error, and i dont knwo why


a little help pleasE?

Try...

=COUNTIF($B1:$B251,"<=5")

sorry, i got that working, but also i need to incorporate an "AND" into my
countIF, whereas the value desired is >0 and <=5,

just a little clarification

 

[CLR]

=COUNTIF($B$1:$B$251,"<=5")-COUNTIF($B$1:$B$251,"<=0")
