Easy question (but I dont know the answer).

How can I insert a desktop icon into a Outlook 2003 email? I'm simply asking
someone if they have a certain program and want to provide the icon they
would see. I'd like to take my icon and just put it in the document (not as
an attachment).

Thanks for any help.

One way is to obtain an image of the icon and insert or paste the image in a
HTML format email.

If the icon is on your desktop {or place it there by placing a shortcut to
the program on the desktop}, you can Print Screen to copy the desktop to
your clipboard as a image. Paste the desktop image into a image editor such
as Paint. Copy just the icon you want and paste it in a HTML format email.
Or, you can crop the desktop image to just the icon you want and save as a
image file. Then insert the image file into a HTML format email.
