I'm consider myself reasonably proficient in basic web designing and have
created a site in FrontPage 2002 for my business. I would like to develop it
so that my customers can log in via a password and then order on line from a
personalised price list. Is this too ambitious for me and/or FrontPage? Any
pointers where to start?

I like the cart from www.candypress.com it'll be easier to customize an
existing app than create a totally new one.
there's also www.comersus.com which I used a couple years back but didn't
like as much as candypress.

You might check with your hosting company. Many of them offer, as a part of
their hosting services, a "lite" version of an ecommerce application that
will allow say, 25 items, etc. They should also provide some help, etc.

Just go for it and use it as a learning tool. Best way to learn is to jump
in and give it a try.!!!!

Best to you......
