edate missing - still stumped

Thanks to the two helpful responses on how to get the EDATE function. I do
remember vaguely that that is where I had gotten it from before. BUT NOW,
how do I find the Analysis Tool Pack Add-In. From an Excel worksheet, going
to Tools, I am running into a wall. Please hand lead me to this creature.
Thanks again!

EDATE is part of the analysis tool pack add-in. The previous respondents
have given instructions on how to find this add-in.

Click Tools, click Add-Ins from the menu, check the box next to analysis
tool pack. XL2003 hides menu options that have not been recently used, so
you may need to click the down arrow at the bottom of the menu to see the
Add-Ins menu option.

--Thank you VERY MUCH for taking the time to help me out. It now works.
This is my first time using this type of community forum, and it has really
bailed me out of an albeit simple mess. Thank you again!!!!!!
