edit data greyed out

Word 2007, I have inserted a chart, changed the "default" data to my own, and
saved the document. Now when I right click on the chart, the edit data option
is greyed out.

I have one chart where I can edit the data and one chart where I cannot.
They were both created the same way.

I can provide a copy of the docx in question if that helps.
