Edit email in MS Word, but not all?

I have turned off the feature that makes MSWord my default editor for email
messages. Once in a while, I want to edit a new message in Word though. If
I want to mark it up and include some of the drawing objects (like arrows
and circles) I find that it is easy to do in Word.

Is there any way to use Word on one message, without making it my default
editor?
