Edit Menu Disappeared

My Edit Menu suddenly disappeared while I was copying and pasting a symbol. Going to Tools, Customize, Toolbars, Reset did not help. Suggestions?

You can drag the Edit> built-in menu item back into position from the
Customize dialog.
