Edit with Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer; page doesn't load

We have a problem where "Edit with Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer" used
for IE opens SharePoint Designer but not the actual page. Though you can then
use Open Site or Open to required page it would be nice ot have the page load
automatically.

Any suggestions as to how to get this working ?
