Editing a database through Visio

I'm using an Access .mdb database to add data to a visio 2007 diagram. I know
that when you refresh data it updates the data attached to the shapes in the
diagram from the database. I was wondering if there was anyway to edit a
data field in the Diagram and have that change go backwards and change the
database.

That was left out by design, although custom code can be created to
accomplish it.

Actually, if you use the older Database Wizard (Tools > Add-ons > Visio
Extras > Link to ODBC Database *or* Database Wizard), then you can create
two way links. However, the legacy method does not use the new
DataRecordset object, which was added in 2007.
