Editing Access Application with Office XP Access 2002

I am having problems opening the application in Design
view. I can open the application by holding onto the
shift key and opening the database in Access 2000 and
Access 97.

However upon installing Office XP and converting the
Access application into Access 2002, when I try this it
is going directly and firing up my forms.

Is there a new key that we can use to open the database
in Design view. I tried the shortcut toggle keys but
they also will not work.
