I am trying to creat a new sheet in Excel with information copied from Sheet1. The information is the same, I just need it in another order. I cannot get the validation to copy to the new sheet and when I try to validate stuff on the new sheet, the drop down shows ALL of the info that is located underneath. This is a huge spreadsheet, so retyping my reference list would be too time consuming
ex. I have a column titled Category. Within the category are options such as "castors, decorative, drawer slide, etc...." Since the sheet is already established, there are multiple entries for each category. When I try to validate it, each entry shows up in the list (i.e. "castor" appears ~15 times instead of just once).
