editing dictionary

I want to edit the dictionary the basic (not custom) MS Word uses to
remove a few words. Is this possible? If so how can this be done?

All help is appreciated.

You can't edit the basic dictionary but you can create an 'exclude
dictionary' which should have the same effect as removing words. See
