editing existing task in MPP file

I am trying to edit an MS project file(.MPP) using C#, I am able to add new
task to the file but I could not edit an existing task. How can I edit an
existing task programmatically?.

One way is to record a macro in Project of you manually editing the task,
then convert the VBA code to C#.

Most reliable way is to know the unique ID for the Task. In VBA the code is:

ActiveProject.Tasks.UniqueId(lngTUID).Duration=8*60
