S Suzanne S. Barnhill Jan 26, 2004 #2 Three ways: 1. View | Footnotes. This opens the footnote pane, and you can scroll to the footnote you want to edit. 2. Double-click on the reference mark for the footnote you want to edit. This will open the footnote pane with that footnote displayed. 3. In Print Layout view, click in the footnote itself and edit directly.
