Editing form fields in word 2003 in protected mode

I am new to this forum, Can anyone help me in formatting form fields i
word 2003 after protecting the form. Eg :- User shoulbe able to chang
the font, color etc of the field but should not be able to update th
text

In a document with forms protection, users can't edit the formatting.
