Editing Image from Previous Version of Word

I have a document created in Word 2000 which contains many
image objects. These images are editable in Word 2000,
but in Word 2003 the option to edit it unavailable. Has
anyone else encountered this and/or know of a solution?

Click on the image and the Picture Toolbar will appear and click the Reset
image button.
