editing music

Hello all

When I insert music to play from CD drive I can set timing etc. How do I do
this when I want to play music file from my hard drive.

Somebody mention that the file must be in the same directory as the
presentation. How do I do this?

The dialogue box for playing a music track from file is different to that of
the play music track from file. Can this be changed?

Thanks in advance

Insert Movies and Sounds | Sounds from file. If your not going to be moving your
presentation from one computer to another, then the sound file need not be in
the same folder as the presentation. You can leave it where it is. But if your
going move the presentation, then it is advisable to put the sound file into the
same folder as the presentation before you insert it.

Right click the music (speaker icon) and under custom animations, set your
timings or whatever other options you want.

Problem being that there are limited options there.... only play track not
when to start it or stop it e.g. start at 00:13:45 and end at 00:13:57 etc.

That option is only given whne playing a track from CD.

You need to convert (rip) your music on the cd to another format, something like
..MP3 or .WMA. A Google search on CD to MP3 will give you a number of choices.
