Editing Photo Gallery in Front Page 2003

Hello everyone. I am trying to update a Photo Gallery for our website in
Front Page 2003. It 'says' to double click the gallery to bring up the
gallery's properties box, to which I can add, delete, etc. It says to do
this in the 'design' view of the page I am on. So, I go to my design view,
and I can double click all over every inch of the Photo Gallery area, and I
can't seem to get to the properties box to do any editing.

Is there something I am missing?

You have open the web first directly in FP via File Menu | Open web / site correct?
