please tell me how i grab and copy an object to another part of the slide. With PC version you grab it and hold control and it copies it rather than just moves it. Any clues on how to do this with mac version? I have tried fn, control, option and command while grabbing the object but none do the trick. thx

Holding down the option key while clicking and dragging the shape seems to work fine for me.

You could always do a Command+D to duplicate the object and then move it. Not sure why your option key combination isn't working, though.

Just an experiment, but try pressing the option key first, and then click and drag the object. Do you see the plus sign while you're dragging the object?

Option gives you a freeform drag and copy, while Shift-Option keeps it in line vertically or horizontally.
