Editing PowerPoint slides with PPT 2003

I am updating a presentation that someone else created. When I page through
the presentation in normal view, the slides do not all display the same. I
re-sized the text and images so nothing appears off of the slide, but the
slides still display funny. I have to use the scroll bar to center the slide
on my computer screen.

If the creator placed objects way off the slide, PowerPoint will try to display
them as well as the slide in the same display area. Try this. Find one of the
slides that is off center. Click anywhere in the gray area around the slide.
Then press the Tab key multiple times. Each time you press the key, an object
will be selected. Watch carefully until you see selection handles somewhere in
the area around the slide. Then inspect that object more carefully to determine
what it is, why it's there, and whether it can/should be deleted.
