I am using Word 2007. Using the editing restrictions No changes (Read only)
option on the Restrict Formatting and Editing task pane, I want to specify
that different people can edit different parts of a document.
This is the process I followed.
I selected part of the document, clicked on Editing restrictions [No changes
(Read only)], then clicked on More users. I typed the person's email address
and clicked on [OK]. Then I ticked their check box in the Exceptions section
and clicked on [Yes, Start Enforcing Protection]. I saved and emailed the
document to them and they couldn't edit any part of the document at all. Can
anyone help?
