The horizontal nav bar....

was it textual or graphical?
was it generated thru the nav bar wizard or a handmade menu?
tell me what you want.

Oops - was not finished explaining.
Initially created by the Wizard
I had a Hor and Ver Nav bar.
I deleted the Ver one.
The Hor one was just plain text.
I modifed the Hor one (incorrectly) but then the titles did not match what
was on the page.
Then the Hor Bar, which as at the bottom of the pages , just disappeared.
I would like a Hor Nav bar allowing you to go to pages: 1,2,3,4,6 and13
thanks

2 things - one, the nav bar wizard states "vertical AND horizontal" or
"vertical" - there is no 'only horizontal' option. (fyi, nav bar options
improved in 2002 and more so in 2003.) and two, Microsoft's KB article
218680 states that the horizontal menu cannot be modified directly, it needs
the vertical menu which gets the editing.

I was not able to get the wizard to actually regenerate the horz. menu on
your file along with the vert., it would only generate the vert., even
resetting the Wizard (tools, options, user assist.) didn't work. Looks like
2000 won't allow a horz. past the initial wizard start. These menus have
always been buggy, though slightly less so in each release.

Since all you wanted was a textual menu I manually created one for you on
page 1. I then pasted it to the other pages. It's just plain text
hyperlinked to appropriate pages. Actually easier than the freakin wizard.
When changes are needed just change it on one page and then copy/paste it to
the others.

I uploaded your modified file to my www.barvin.com site since that's where I
had the space. The url for you to grab it is - www.barvin.com/lizzzet.zip

holler back when you have it so I can delete it.

First BIG thank you !
I got the file downloaded.

I should have been able to figure out - on my own - the solution you came up
with ... looks that I still am a beginner.
I have thought about getting Pub 3000 but I am afraid of the learning curve
cause by now I am comfortable with Pub 2000.
If I do upgrade, I am sure you will see a lot more of me ! LOL
