Edits to total task % Complete will be spread to the status date

Hi,

I can't get this Option to work. Setting a task of 10 days x 8h to 25%
Complete after 5 days, results in 8 hours Actual for the first 2 days and 4
hours for the 3rd day. I would have expected 4 hours for each of the first 5
days (spread evenly from start to status date).

Any ideas ?
