Hi Viren,

Expecting the continuation of the error message :) It should asked
you to run on the computer where the Project Server 2003 is installed.
Guess you are trying to run from your local desktop or other machine.
Is that so?

Thanks,
Ravi.

I am running this utility on the Production Server where Project Server is
installed and i also have all the necessary permissions to access/modify
registry.

I also have a development environment where this utility is running
perfectly fine. I just fail to understand what's wrong because i am not doing
anything differently on these two servers :(

I have found the solution to this issue on
http://blogs.msdn.com/ricalo/archive/2006/08/15/701449.aspx

The solution is:
-------------------
Log on to the front-end server from which you want to execute EditSite;
locate the following registry key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\MS Project\WebClient
Server\ProjectServer\Datasets\ViewsFileDrop

and then locate ForwardUNC000 key; rename that to ForwardUNC and execute
EditSite; The utility should work now.

NOTE: DON'T FORGET TO TAKE TAHT KEY BACK TO IT'S FORMER NAME !!
