I am using PowerPoint 2003. I am creating a presentation and I would like to
know, when I insert music on the first slide, then I'll go to custom
animation, then to sound setting, why is "Total playing time=00.00. This only
happens on the very first slide which is creating a problem for me when I try
to create a DVD from a PowerPoint presentattion.

What is it, I should know. My DVD's always come out with the missing music,
but just missing from the first slide.

Thanks!

Dear Two,

If you're using wav files, insert the music at the transition instead of
into the slide --this way you'll embed it.

It you're using some other music format, make sure that the subsequent
animations are playing With Previous.

Are you using Package for CD?

PowerPoint responsibly,
Sandy

Sany, no I have not used the package for cd option yet. I really don't even
know what it is, except, I'm hoping, it's something I am going to have to use
to make the presentation for any PC. Presently, I am preparing the
presentation to make a DVD then I will concertrate on what I have to do for
the presentation to run on any pc.
Thanks
