Effort units mismatch

Hi,

In MS Project 2007 (SP2). I want to see the FTE allocation per month
for the project per team: So I have set the gantt timescale to be per
month and have gone to options to change the effort to be man-months
(options: work is entered in months" in order to be same unit as
timescale and get FTEs.

Surpringly, all the detaied tasks are shown in months as expected..
but
If i go task usage --> the total per task is show in manmonth for
tasks (including the summary task) --> Good!
BUT
If i go resource usage --> The total per resoruce is shown in hours
still for the total of resource or any other group that i create...
it still shows hours! --> Bad!

Does anyone have a clue of what is happening? and how can i overcome
this issue?

IM

PS. I have local and enterprise resources... problem happens for BOTH,
