On MIcrosoft WORD, each document I bring up is preceeded with the program
registration request, which must be dealt with before I can work. I am not
ready to register the program. I would like to know how to eliminate the
nuisance of the reminder.

Registration is optional, activation is a must
Or do you mean an installer msg ?

You mean activate, not register, right? It will pop up fifty times and
then it will not only pop up but not let you use Word until you
activate. Why aren't you ready to activate?
