Eliminating blank lines after group heading

Is there a way to delete the blank line after a group
header and before the first deatil record? Force new page
and new row or Col are set to 'none' for both and I have
squeezed the report layout as much as I can.

Have you tried setting the Can Shrink property of the group heading to Yes?

Thanks Cheryl - They are both set to yes also. It appears
to be some form of hardcoded entity in the groupheader.
