Eliminating "Completed" Tasks from task list

Hi all,

Hope someone can help me. I use my task list at great
length and whenever I check one as completed a line goes
through it and it turns grey, but it remains on the
list. Does anyone know if there is an option to "not
show" completed tasks. Thanks in advance.

Instead of marking it completed, why not just delete it?

Use the Active Tasks view or any other view with a filter that shows only
uncompleted tasks.
