Eliminating duplicates

Jon

I have thousands of numbers, one per cell, and many of these are simply
repetitive. Is there a quick & easy way to eliminate duplicate cells?

Thanks,
Jon

If they are all in the same column, use Data/Filter/Advanced Filter and select
Unique Records only.

Assuming col. A with a header:

1. Put this formula in B2 and fill down:
=IF(COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)>1,1,"e")
2. Select col. B.
3. Press F5 > Special > Formulas and uncheck all 4 boxes
underneath except Numbers
5. Press <Ctrl><->.
6. Choose "Entire row" and press OK.
7. Delete col. B.
