Eliminating older projects from being included in the resource vie

Is there a way to retain projects in MS Project server and yet to have them
not included in the scroll list on the resource view? I understand that
projects can be deleted from the data base but short of that wondered if
there was a way to not have older projects included in the scroll down list.

Dale thanks for your reply and what we are using is the 2003 version. The
scroll list is on the resource screen when you view the availability for a
resource. Each project has a check box next to it which you can uncheck and
which deletes them from the graph and table of availability but what I am
trying to figure out is a way to delete older projects from that scroll list.
I am looking at the link you sent me about archiving but would this have
that effect?

On your completed projects, are you setting the Booking type value for each
team member to Proposed? If not, try that in one project and then publish
the project. The next time your OLAP cube rebuilds, check to see if that
eliminates the project. Let us know.
