How do I put the periods or ellipses to fill in the spaces between the
end of a title and the page number like on a Table of Contents page?

What do you mean "...like on a Table of Contents page?"

If you mean in the table of contents you would do it as follows:
Click on
- Insert
- Reference
- Index and Tables...

Select the 'Table of Contents' Tab
Select your format for the TOC in General > Formats
Now select your TAB leader.

Thanks, but I get an error. I want to run the page number all the way
on the right side. If I just put in a long string of periods until I
get over to the righ, it doesn't line up neatly....like so...
