email and a dial-up connection problems

I use outlook 2000 and my primary internet connection is
DSL. I check my pop email account without issue and send
email with out issue. When I travel I use a dialup ISP
but my mail will not send and does not always pull from
the server. Any ideas? Andy [email protected]
