Email and error messages

Hi. I'm using MS Outlook and getting an error message.
WHen I called my ISP, they said it was a problem with
norton anitvirus and MS. They also said, just type in
the error code (which I have) and MS will tell me how to
fix it. The only problem is that there is so much stuff
on the MS website, I can't find a listing of where you
can enter error codes. Does anyone know how to find
this? Thanks much in advance.

What is the exact text of the error message and what are you trying to do
when you see it? What version of Outlook? What type of Email account?
