email and red x's

i seem to be getting a lot of red x's where pictures
should be

any information to fix this would be appreciated

Which version of Outlook are you using? In Outlook 2003 pictures received
from the Internet are blocked by default and can be viewed by clicking the
bar "Click here to download pictures." Pictures received from the Internet
can also be blocked by your virusscanner or spam-filter. See the productinfo
for that product in this case. In some cases people created the document
wrong and linked the picture to a location on their harddrive instead on
including it in the message. In this case you will also get red x's.
