Email Attachment won't open

When I send an attachment through Outlook, the receiver
can't open it. What could be the problem?

Could be a lot of things. What kind of attachment? What version of Outlook
are you using? What version of Outlook are they using? What happens when
they try to open it? Do they get an error message? What does that error
message say?
