Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I am having trouble with attachments in email. The attachment shows as being there and lists the name of the file but the size of the files are listed as 0.0k and the file won't open - its affecting all file types .doc/.ppt/.xls / .jpg

Does anyone have a solution or suggestion.

(entourage 2004 on Snow leopard using pop to download from server).

I have also had issues with viewing image attachments in Entourage 2004
under SL. This is probably a MS/Preview problem. Perhaps we should report
this to Apple and MS.

Is this the case with *all* attachments from *every* sender or does it
involve attachments from specific sources? Have you tried sending yourself a
message with an attachment to see how it renders? Have one of the sources
resend a zipped copy of the same file & see if you get a different result.

Is your installation of Office 2004 fully updated (11.5.7)?

What about OS X (10.6.2)?

Because of the indicated size I would tend to think this is a matter of
either the attachment encoding on the sender's end or an issue with the
sending/receiving mail server.

Do you see a link or button anywhere in the message window to "Get
entire message"? You may not have downloaded the entire message from the
server.

Hope this helps!
