email autocomplete name and misspellings

P

paul

the autocomplete is a useful feature, however, if one
mispells a name, it seems to be registered permanently.
anytime in the future that I send an email, i'll start
spelling the name and voila two names pop up (one right,
one wrong( and i have to go through the exercise of
figuring out which one is wrong.

i've changed the email line in the wrong one so it goes to
the correct address, however, I'd prefer to delete the
both names altogether.

i have tried to change the display name and the email
address, but that just creates another entry. Is there
any way to access the "master list" of names to be
completed? is there another way to do this?

Paul,

You can delete one entry at a time by selecting and highlighting the entry
and then pressing the delete key. If you're interested in viewing the
entire contents of the autocomplete cache, you can download our utility at
www.dcs-imaging.com/products.com . It's called Owtlook. You can use the
demo version to view the contents, however if you want to do serious editing
to the file, you'd need to purchase the utility for $24.95. There are many
uses for the files' contents and our utility will enable you to export this
contact information and then import that info. into a contact folder if you
wish.
