email blaster/campaign

Any suggestions of an email program that uses Access data for its lists.
I've read 'blaster' is the term, however I'm using it for past customers
emails, and other email campaigns that are send out on a regular basis.
Outlook doesn't serve my purposes as I can't create my own fields easily, and
most of my contacts are in Access with lots of custom fields, so prefer to
stick to it.

I tried the coloradosoft "worldmerge' however after sending myself two email
and neither arrived..... it got the big X. Also doesn't allow you to change
databases, and you have no choice as to which table it will use, it just
picks one!

Total Access Emailer by FMS looks fantastic, but $500 is over my budget for
email campaigns!

Any suggestions?

GolfGal,

I sure hope that you are not a spammer. With that said, you might try using
WorldCast from Fairlogic.com:

Okay, I just tried this link, which I had previously bookmarked, and I'm
getting a "Cannot find server or DNS Error" error message. This means that
1.) their server is temporarily down, or 2.) they've gone out of business. I
don't know which at this point.

Thanks for the links. I will check them out. I believe I check Tony Toews
after searching here, but writing my own code for this task is beyond me.
Even copying code and customizing to my application is beyond me!

No, I'm not a spammer! This is for a customer-for-life program and new
leads who request to be emailed.

Thanks again

Sorry to hear that you've had trouble with WorldMerge. I have been using it
successfully for more than a year to send out 400+ monthly emails to members
of an organization. (No, I don't work for Colorado Software.) I have had no
problem choosing the Access table or query I want to use. I have found it
imperative to turn off my anti-virus protection before sending a blast,
however; otherwise, none of the message go through.
