Email Configuration Outlook 07

I am unable to connect to my pop3 account via Outlook despite all the
settings being verified as correct (I am able to access the account webmail).
Is there something I am missing in the configuration process that my local
cable internet service is unfamiliar with? (Currently connecting to internet
via wireless connection and router).

I just installed Outlook 2007 with Vista. I can send email fine but it will
not receive. It says it is processing but never finishes. The login screen
keeps popping-up. Please Help?!?!

What kind of email account (POP, IMAP, Exchange Server)? Do you have an
AntiVirus application setup to scan your email? It's very hard to answer
questions with little or no detail provided.
