Email Configuration Problem

Bob Newman

I have used Outllok 2000 with my AT&T dial-up internet service for email
with no problems over many years. I recently switched to a high speed
provider but want to continue using Worldnet for my email source. I am
having problems getting it configured properly (actual setting are at the
end of this note). Worldnet says I just needed to change a few parameters
since I am no longer accessing from their service. After a few tweaks I am
able to receive my Worldnet email fine but when Outlook attemps to send
outgoing mail I get the following error

"A timeout occured while communicating with the server. (Account: 'Bob
Newman', SMTP Server: 'imailhost.worldnet.att.net', Error Number:
0x800ccc19)."

Urgent help needed please. Thanks... Bob

My settings are:
incoming POP3:ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net,
Outgoing SMTP: imailhost.worldnet.att.net.
Server Port Numbers: Outgoing SMTP: 465; Incoming POP3: 995.

NOTE: This server requires a secure connection (SSL) box is checked

You need to set the smtp server to authenticate.
