This is driving me crazy..

Basically my laptop went bang the other day and motherboard is dead..

I've taken out the HD and used usb connectors to access all the data
but can't find the current *.pst files.. I can find my old backups but
not the current one.

I'm using office xp and win xp and have install it on my desktop but
can't for the life of me find the email data..

I am showing system files, Of cousre looked in doc & setting >> Ap
data which again has no files..

search the HD for *.pst and again only old backups with old mod
dates??

Have I got any options here.. I'm thinking the only way is to boot
from the usb drive but then i'm hitting issuse with the MBR grrr..

Thanks for any help!

pst files are "hidden" files so ensure you select that when searching.

You need to look in Local Application Data instead of Application Data.

No, you can't recover those in the current state; you'll have configure that
manually
