Email Delivery Notification Exchange 2000

When sending a fax using exchange 2000 a wizard appears. This allows me to request Delivery Notification of the the fax I send, either by screen pop-up or email
The email option is blanked out so that I cannot select it
Can anyone tell me how to enable thi
