Email doesn't appear in inbox until you click

Hi,

I have a user who never sees any email on his laptop unless he clicks on
another message. Then any new emails appear. This doesn't happen on his
desktop computer. I have tried creating a new profile, checking for rules,
etc.

Any ideas?

Brian,

Thanks so much for the link. One more question - is it possible for this to
just start happening. He never had this problem before. I am in a large
corporation and he never had this problem until a security update and office
patch was applied to his computer. Does that make sense?

If the update you applied was Windows XP SP2, it could very well start this.
XP SP2 turns on the Windows firewall by default.
